Mark Urman

Mark Urman, MD, FACC, FASE, FAHA and his family have been members of Sinai Temple since 2004 and their two daughters, Gabrielle and Danielle, are former students of Sinai Akiba Academy. He and his wife, Delilah, have been integrally involved with the Sinai community and previously served as co-chairs of Annual Giving at Sinai Akiba and co-chairs of Dor Chadash, a Sinai community for families with young children. Mark has been a member of the Temple Board of Directors since 2014. He served as a co-chair of the membership committee and is currently on the Sinai Akiba Oversight Committee and is an ex-officio Director of the Sinai Akiba Board.

Dr. Urman is a former Clinical Chief of the Division of Cardiology and was the inaugural Medical Director of the Heart Center at the Cedars-Sinai Smidt Heart Institute where he is a board certified attending cardiologist on staff in private practice. He is currently a Clinical Professor of Medicine at both Cedars and Geffen Medical School at UCLA. Mark has lectured nationally and internationally and has travelled internationally to consult on patients and has patients who come from as far as Asia and the Middle East to seek his care. He has been acknowledged and awarded numerous accolades as a premier heart specialist.
