Michael Nazarian
Michael Nazarian was born in Tehran, Iran. He and his wife, Anna, have two children, a son named Pegram, and a daughter named Rebecca. Michael and Anna have been members of Sinai for approximately 23 years.
Michael served as Vice President of Membership on the Executive Board of Directors for eight years and is proud to note that membership grew each of those years. Michael also served fourteen years on the Board of Directors and has been a long standing member of Men’s Club. In 2005, Anna and Michael were honored alongside Sarah and David Aftergood at the annual Men’s Club Burning Bush Awards Dinner at which they collected over $300,000 for the beneficiary, Israeli firefighters, who received two new fire trucks. Michael also became Man of the Year for Sinai Temple’s Men’s Club and currently is the Chair of the House and Grounds Committee and is a member of the Membership Committee. Most Shabbats Michael also serves as a Gabbaim.
Last but not least, he in the floor covering business with his wife and daughter. His son has his own flooring showroom in Los Angeles.
