Do You Want Your Child to be a STAR?

By the time your child finishes the S.T.A.R.S program, they will be a STAR! With consistent attendance, students who complete our kindergarten through seventh grade classes will be able to :


STARS
Everyone is welcome to join us, Sinai Temple Religious School, the 2nd Saturday of every month at 10:00am and celebrate Shabbat with a festive morning of family friendly Torah service and study* (followed by a delicious lunch and activities* for children!) *Led by Rabbi Schuldenfrei and Cantor Ari.

When: 6 Sundays per year, 9:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Wednesdays, 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.

The “Oys” and “Joys” of Jewish Holidays

When: Twice a month on Sundays from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Dates: Starting on November 2, 2008
Where: Sinai Temple, Room 112

Interested in Going to Israel?
Students that are interested in going to Israel should know that Sinai Temple is a partner of the Jewish Federation and will match their grant with 50% (ie if the Federation gives $500, Sinai Temple will give $250 towards the student trip to Israel)...for more information contact the Religious School office at 310 481-3271

Attention 8th – 12th graders!!! – Join your friends at SiHi!!! It’s an engaging, dynamic, elective-based program! Students choose from a variety of awesome electives while enjoying a latte or smoothie and hanging out with friends! Community service opportunities with 2 community service days and work towards Confirmation! Electives include: Jewish Values, Debate Ethical Dilemmas, Israel in the Media and Arts, SiHi Art Studio, Service Learning, Inspirational Guest Speakers, Holocaust Studies, Conversational Hebrew, Jewish Cooking, IDF Training, Acting, and much more!
