In cooperation with Jewish Family Services (JFS), The Family Center coordinates a "Caring for our
Special Needs Children" support group meeting twice each month during the school year. Its goals are
two fold:
1) To provide the opportunity for parents to share and discuss some of the unique issues of raising a
special needs child; and
2) To provide informative and stimulating speakers on a wide range of topics related to
special needs. Further, this group is made possible by a partnership between University Synagogue, Temple Beth Am
and Sinai Temple. Sally Weber, LCSW of JFS facilitates the group.
For more information contact Jewish Family Services at 323.761.8800.
