Guest: Eli Atti, Prior to winning an Emmy for writing "The West Wing," Eli Atti worked as special assistant to Pres. Clinton and was Al Gore's chief speechwriter. Come hear what he has to say about politics, Hollywood and civic involvement.

Services will be followed by a Kiddush and Israeli Dancing for everyone.

And in the ATID Lounge (ages 21-39 only) please join us after services for more music, a Persian buffet and networking.

Life Coaching Havurah

Fourth Annual ATID Purim Party

Saturday, March 18, 2oo6 at 8pm at the Petersen Automotive Museum
 (Wilshire and Fairfax). Each year the ATID Purim Party has been bigger and better than the last, and this year will be no exception with an Old Hollywood theme. Join 1000 young Jewish professionals for a night of dancing, drinking and celebrating at "PURIMWOOD": A costume party inspired by actual events. Cost: $35 before March 16th ($5 off for members and Birthright Israel Alumni) and $45 the door. (parking included)

Information on Programming Group ATID

ATID, which means "future" in Hebrew, offers a variety of innovative and exciting events and programs to inspire and educate young Los Angeles Jews. ATID connects people within the community and provides social opportunities, while fostering a deeper engagement with Judaism. The ATID program attracts an array of scholars, artists, and other experts on faith, the arts, politics, identity, community and other compelling subjects.

Throughout the year, ATID presents a variety of exceptional programs. Some are one-time programs focusing on Jewish holidays, such as our Purim party for young professionals. Others are series of unique classes or study sessions geared toward singles, young couples, parents or a combination audience. Additionally, there are events featuring extraordinary teachers, scholars and personalities that are designed to appeal to the various segments of the ATID audience.

ATID offers special programming for teenagers, supplementing the United Synagogue Youth experience with outstanding speakers and outings. ATID also present exclusive programming for Sinai Temple college students when they are home from school, as well as working with area Hillels to enhance the Jewish experience of students at the local universities.
