ATID, which means "future" in Hebrew, offers a variety of innovative and exciting events and programs to inspire and educate young Los Angeles Jews. ATID connects people within the community and provides social opportunities, while fostering a deeper engagement with Judaism. The ATID program attracts an array of scholars, artists, and other experts on faith, the arts, politics, identity, community and other compelling subjects.
Throughout the year, ATID presents a variety of exceptional programs. Some are one-time programs focusing on Jewish holidays, such as our Purim party for young professionals. Others are series of unique classes or study sessions geared toward singles, young couples, parents or a combination audience. Additionally, there are events featuring extraordinary teachers, scholars and personalities that are designed to appeal to the various segments of the ATID audience.
ATID offers special programming for teenagers, supplementing the United Synagogue Youth experience with outstanding speakers and outings. ATID also present exclusive programming for Sinai Temple college students when they are home from school, as well as working with area Hillels to enhance the Jewish experience of students at the local universities.
