Starting November 3rd, spend an hour every Thursday morning deepening your understanding of Judaism and our sacred text. Learn along with us as we go through the Torah together; no previous knowledge or Hebrew is required.

Unraveling The Many Threads Of The Torah

Rabbi Jason FruithandlerJoin Rabbi Jason Fruithandler as he continues a 3,000 year old exploration of Torah interpretation. Each class will focus on a different method of understanding the many layers of meaning embedded in the Torah and how each one of us can add the next chapter of understanding Judaism’s foundational text.

Jewish Women: From Stereotype to Reality with Rabbi Nicole Guzik

Explore and (at least attempt to) unravel the complexity that defines the Jewish Woman. From addressing stereotypes to the ever-evolving mother/daughter relationship, this class promises a lot of learning, laughter, and bonding. Bring your own dairy lunch.

Marriage Basics: Blending Your Lives After The Glass Is Broken

This class is designed to guide engaged or married couples of any age down the tricky path of intertwining their lives, from incorporating Jewish traditions in the home to the role intimacy plays in their relationship. Classes will be taught by Sinai Temple clergy.

When: Thursdays at 7:00pm

Dates: January 12, 19, 16, and February 2

Torah in the Round regularly meets on the third Shabbat of the month, usually located in Kohn Chapel.
