Sharona R. Nazarian
Sharona R. Nazarian, PsyD has been a member of Sinai Temple since 1990. She has served on numerous committees including Chair of the Communications Committee, Long Term Goal Committee, Ritual Committee, Dinner Dance Co Chair, Development Committee, Purim Carnival Co Chair and Bar/Bat Mitzvah Committee. She has also served on numerous committees and boards for SAA. She, along with her husband Daniel, have three children, all who have attended SAA since Parent and Me.
Currently, Dr. Nazarian serves as a Los Angeles County Commissioner and on the Executive board as 1st Vice Chair. She is an experienced psychologist with a demonstrated history of working in the philanthropic industry. After completing her studies at USC, she earned her masters and doctorate in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on Multicultural Psychology. Dr. Nazarian is a former Chair of the Human Relations Commission for the City of Beverly Hills; current board member of the Beverly Hills Rotary Club and USC Hillel; Co-President of the Beverly Hills Sister City Association; committee member for Joint Task force and Campus Activities for the Jewish Federation; a past Board Member of the Zimmer Children’s Museum & The Maple Counseling Center and former National Vice President of the Friends of Israeli Disabled Veterans (FIDF).
