Who better to run the Sinai Temple Teen Center then, well… Sinai Temple teens? Exactly! The Teen Center is run by the Teen Center Leadership Council, an awe-inspiring group of teenagers. You can read a little bit about each of them below and what they do on board. Of course, there are also some adults involved. Matt Baram is the Teen Center Director. Some members of our community mark the end of the 7-day shiva period with a memorial service. This is an opportunity for family and friends to gather together, after the first phase of mourning, to bring support and love to the family. The evening service is usually held in the Ziegler Sanctuary but can also be held in the Kohn Chapel. Family members and friends are invited to speak about the deceased and to share fond memories together.
