DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, June 8\n11:30am – Immediately following services\nZiegler Hall\n\nRegister here. \nJonathan Curran came to Israel at age 18 and enlisted in the IDF where he joined an elite military unit responsible for targeted strikes against Israel’s enemies. After completing his 3-year mandatory service\, he served in the Shabaq (Israel’s FBI) and is currently registered for miluim service. Since October 7th\, Jonathan has served in the North defending the country and has been in Gaza several times. Jonathan started playing football in Israel after he left the military in 2010. He first played for a Tel Aviv team and now plays for the Ramat HaSharon Hammers. He played with the national flag football team in Israel’s first-ever international competition in Spain in 2014 and then again in 2023 in Ireland where Team Israel took 3rd place. Jonathan has played many positions\, including QB\, receiver\, corner\, safety\, punter\, and kicker. Jonathan lives in Israel and is married with two kids. “I am proud to serve Israel in every way possible\,” Jonathan says\, “not just in football and the military\, but in every way I can.”
