SUMMARY:Men's Club Krav Maga Class
DESCRIPTION:Join us for an electrifying event where a seasoned black belt will teach you real Krav Maga moves\, accompanied by riveting firsthand experiences from an ex-IDF solider\, our very own Rabbi Avi Taff. \n\nSunday\, November 19\, 2023 from 2-4pm\nWeinberg Gym (3rd Floor) at Sinai Temple\n\n\nWe encourage everyone attending to wear workout clothes and bring their own water bottle.\n\n\nWhat is Krav Maga?\nKrav Maga is an Israeli martial arts style that was developed by the Israel Defense Forces. It is derived from a combination of techniques used in aikido\, judo\, karate\, boxing\, and wrestling. It is known for its focus on real-world situations and its extreme efficiency.\n\nThe Instructor\n\nDr. Dave Famili has been a long time member of Sinai Temple. He currently practices Restorative Dentist in West LA. He received his Krav Maga Black Belt from Darren Levine and his teacher Kru in Muay Thai from Vuk. \nDave has trained Law Enforcement and Civilians in Krav Maga and Muay Thai.
