Who better to run the Sinai Temple Teen Center then, well… Sinai Temple teens? Exactly! The Teen Center is run by the Teen Center Leadership Council, an awe-inspiring group of teenagers. You can read a little bit about each of them below and what they do on board.

Of course, there are also some adults involved. Matt Baram is the Teen Center Director. He’s a social media wiz, plays guitar, enjoys long walks on the beach, etc etc. Then there’s Emily Dusedau, she’s our Teen Coordinator, and when she isn’t posting Instagrams of her cat, she’s helping to ensure that all of awesome Teen Center events are well prepped for. They’re the two to contact if you need anything!

We are also lucky to have Elonna Ratman and David Gottlieb, our Teen Center advisers, who are here to make all of our Teen Center events as amazeballs as possible.

Rabbi Jason Fruithandler is our Rabbinic supervisor, and Jamie Berman is our Sinai Temple Board liaison.

But the truth is that the Teen Center is run by ALL OF YOU. So join the cause! Help us strengthen our Jewish community, help us embolden the Jewish leaders of today & tomorrow, and help us make the Sinai Temple Teen Center the most amazing place for Jewish Teens in the world (yes, the world!). 2015-16 TEEN CENTER LEADERSHIP COUNCIL

PRESIDENT, JONA YADIDI

Welcome everyone to the 2015-2016 year! I am so humbled and honored to be serving as President on the Sinai Temple Teen Center for this year. I hope that this year we can create together a kehilah kedosha, a holy community. In order to create this community, not only do we as the Leadership Council need to work cohesively to create thrilling programs for the year ahead but also we need you, Sinai Temple teens, to get excited about the amazing opportunities ahead this year. From fun social events like a Limo Scavenger Hunt to educational opportunities like Israel Advocacy Day; this year will be what YOU make of it! And of course, who can forget about our amazing Chai School program including new classes like Babysitting and Israel Ambassador: BDS. So Sinai Temple Teen Center, I have a challenge for you this year, try something new. Whether it’s coming to a new event or creating a new friend, push yourself out of you comfort zone and see what you discover. I promise you you’ll enjoy what you find. And together, let’s make this year great!
