Abigail Beatty
Assistant Director of Education
Abby holds a Master’s in Jewish Education from George Washington University and a Master’s in Jewish History from UC Irvine. Abby began her career teaching in both afterschool and summer camp programming at Congregation Beth Elohim in Brooklyn.
She later completed a five-month Hebrew language program in Jerusalem, worked advocating for improvements to New York City’s ultra-Orthodox education system and as a National Development Associate fundraising for several nonprofits in Israel.
As the Assistant Director of Education, Abby places value on scholarship, community, and teaching to a diversity of learning styles. In her free time, she loves yoga, crafting, and spending time in nature with her fiancé, Andrew, and her cat, Patty!
