4TH GRADE TEACHER
My name is Kobi Almog. This will be my third year teaching at Sinai Temple religious school. A significant day in my life is January 24, 2007, (5 [Hey]Shvat 5767), the day I got married to Miriam. The day before, 4 [Dalet] Shvat, was the anniversary of the passing of the great Moroccan sage, known as the Baba Sali.
I was born in Casablanca, Morocco, where I was educated about Judaism in a traditional family. We learned to revere the sages and felt their blessings throughout our lives. I felt blessed by the Baba Sali as I began my marriage, and I continue to be blessed to be able to educate children. The values and lessons imparted by my parents and the holy sages, are values I still live by, and I try to model and instill these values in my students.
