2019 Sisterhood Torah Fund Luncheon

On Tuesday, March 19, over 130 Sinai Temple members and friends joined Sisterhood for the 2019 Torah Fund Luncheon. The afternoon event celebrated the 2019 Ha’Yay Olam Award recipients, Elaine Lotwin and Mehri Rostamian. Both of these women are integral parts of the Sisterhood and Sinai Temple communities. Their dedication to service to our community is exemplary. In accepting their awards, both Elaine and Mehri spoke of the warmth and inclusion felt at Sinai Temple, and as Sisterhood members in particular.

The atmosphere of the lunch was festive and celebratory. The program concluded with a special treat- a Beautiful musical performance by former Sinai Temple Cantor, Lisa Peicott, accompanied by Sinai Temple Organist/Choir Director, Aryell Cohen.

The Sinai Temple Sisterhood Torah Fund Campaign runs each year from July through April. The fund helps educate rabbis and cantors in the Conservative movement. For more information on Sinai Temple Sisterhood Torah Fund, please click HERE or contact [email protected].
