High Holy Days

Student Programming

During the High Holy Days, specially designed programming is available for students ages 3 – 18. All student activities end at the conclusion of adult services. Parents must immediately pick up their children (age 3 – 6th grade) at their program locations.
Every child must have a ticket.

Age 3 – 2nd Grade
We welcome our youngest students to the Douglas Family ECC on G level, where they will enjoy music and activities led by staff. All children must be potty-trained.

3rd – 6th Grade
Students are immersed in educational stations, arts and crafts, meaningful activities, and age-appropriate services, led by Rabbis Andy Feig and Sam Rotenberg, Jacob Gown and Danielle Kassin. The 3rd – 6th grade SLICE (Student Leaders in Congregational Engagement) service is led by 8th – 12th graders.

7th – 12th Grade
Teens are invited to a High Holy Day experience designed just for them. Led by Rabbi Sam Rotenberg, services and programming encourage teens to find personal meaning in the prayers and themes of the High Holy Days.
