5:45 pm – 6:45 pm

The Friday night service begins at 5:45 pm and concludes by 6:45 pm. It is marked by music, song, and a brief drash, a talk by the presiding Rabbi. It is a perfect way to mark the transition from the workweek to the Sabbath, and we hope that you will join us.

The Ted (z"l) and Hedy (z"l) Orden and Family Friday Night Live

For over 17 years the Ted & Hedy Orden and Family FNL has served thousands of Jewish Young Professionals as the premiere Shabbat program in the country. On the 2nd Friday of every month, hundreds of Jewish young professionals gather for a happy hour, soulful Shabbat services led by our Sinai Temple clergy and FNL band, and a delicious sit down Oneg Shabbat dinner from one of our caterers.

Morning Shabbat

Saturday Mornings

9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Family Minyan

Some Saturdays

9:30 am – 12:00 pm

Our Saturday morning service in Ziegler Sanctuary, led by Rabbi Nicole Guzik, Rabbi Erez Sherman, Rabbi Avi Taff, Rabbi Gavriella Kornsgold, Cantor Marcus Feldman, and Benjamin Fingerhut, is a blend of music, learning, worship and celebration, renowned for its musicality and depth. The service begins at 9:00 a.m. with Shacharit, the morning service. We then continue with the Torah service, which includes the reading and studying of Torah, along with the celebration of our B’nai Mitzvah. The remainder of the service is the music-filled Musaf, followed by the inspiring sermon from our Rabbi. This service concludes by noon.

The Torah has high expectations. We do too. Torah expects its followers to abide by 48 different levels of commitment. Some of those include: engaging in unhurried reflection, being persistent in study, and learning in order to teach. Singing, conversing, studying, and dancing with Torah shows commitment and dedication.

Rabbi Avi Taff

Led by Rabbi Avi Taff, we engage with Torah interactively in a musical, participatory service. Every member of our service is involved—reading Torah, leading text study, opening a home for Shabbat lunch, teaching a song, or giving voice to an issue.

Contact Rabbi Avi Taff at [email protected] with any questions.

Experience the warmth and spirit of Family Minyan—a traditional, participatory, and intergenerational Shabbat service led by Rabbi Gavriella Kornsgold. Rooted in joyful prayer and meaningful Torah learning, Family Minyan offers a soulful and inclusive experience for individuals, couples, and families of all ages.

We gather on the first Shabbat of each month at 9:30 AM for a spirited and welcoming service that brings our community together. Our intimate setting invites active participation, including opportunities to lead parts of the service, read Torah, chant Haftarah, or share teachings. We especially encourage involvement from our upcoming B’nai Mitzvah students, and children of all ages are always welcome.

As a lay-led community, Family Minyan thrives on shared leadership and heartfelt connection. Whether you’re a regular or a first-time guest, you’ll find a meaningful space to daven, learn, and celebrate Shabbat together.

STARS Shabbat Morning

Once a month, we invite the entire community to join Sinai Temple Religious School in a unique service brimming with energy, music and the love of Shabbat. We encourage families’ participation to sing along with Rabbi Sherman and Danielle Kassin. Many of these Shabbats our students will read from the Torah. Following the services we have the opportunity to have the lunch sponsored by a family in our community. Recommended for families with Kindergarten – 5th graders.
