Jan Zakowski
Jan Zakowski grew up at Sinai Temple. She was Bat Mitzvah’d and confirmed at Sinai. Jan and Phil’s children, Daniel, Sarah and Esther, all attended Sinai Akiba Academy and had their B’nai Mitzvot at Sinai. Jan is a past president of the Temple, and chaired the Sinai Temple Preschool Committee, the Sinai Akiba Academy Committee, and the capital campaign for the new facility. For the last 8 years Jan has assisted Rabbi Wolpe in recruiting the 200-300+ people to participate in the Sinai Delegation to the AIPAC Policy Conference. She is also a member of AIPAC’s National Council and its Leadership Institute.
