Leeor Alpern

Leeor Alpern serves as UCLA’s Director of Local Government Relations. Alpern leads relations with city and county government agencies and elected officials for the global leading higher education institution, ranked #1 public university in the nation, 3rd largest employer in Los Angeles County, and highest enrollment in UC system. He is a recognized leader and supporter of various community and non-profit organizations.

Alpern has over twenty-five years of public affairs, government relations, legislative affairs, public policy, community relations, and strategic communications experience. He has an extensive network of working relationships with corporate and local, state and federal government legislative & regulatory decision makers. He earned his Master of Public Policy degree from the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs, and earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and History from UC San Diego.
