Bari Weiss is an op-ed writer and editor for The New York Times. A graduate of Columbia University, Weiss previously worked for the The Wall Street Journal and Tablet, an online magazine that features Jewish news, politics, and culture. She has also written for Ha’aretz, The Forward, and The New York Sun. Weiss regularly appears on shows like Morning Joe and Real Time With Bill Maher, where she talks politics and culture. She is the winner of the 2018 Bastiat Prize for her “brilliant, incisive journalism that defends the cornerstone of individual liberty and civil society: freedom of speech.”
