The Abner & Roslyn Goldstine Scholar-In-Residence Series: Rabbi Donniel Hartman

Please join us from February 9-11 for the 2024 Abner & Roslyn Goldstine Scholar in Residence Lecture Series featuring Rabbi Donniel Hartman, President of the Shalom Hartman Institute.

The Shalom Hartman Institute is a leading center of Jewish thought and education, serving Israel and North America. The Institute’s mission is to strengthen Jewish peoplehood, identity, and pluralism; to enhance the Jewish and democratic character of Israel; and to ensure that Judaism is a compelling force for good in the 21st century.

Events include:

Friday Night Shabbat Dinner (with special remarks from Rabbi Hartman)

6:45pm; $45 for Sinai Temple members; $55 non-members (pre-registration required; no registrations will be taken at the door)

Friday evening lecture “Gaza and the Dilemmas of Jewish Power”

8:00pm; Free of charge and open to the public

Saturday Shabbat lunch & lecture “Israel The Day After”

12:00pm (following services); $30 Sinai Temple members; $40 non-members (pre-registration required; no registrations will be taken at the door)

Sunday morning breakfast and lecture “The Challenges to Judaism and Zionism” with the launch of Rabbi Hartman’s book, “Who Are The Jews and Who Can We Become”

9:30am; $25 Sinai Temple members; $35 non-members
