Thriving with Anxiety With Dr. David Rosmarin, PhD

The Sinai Temple Mental Health Center welcomes Dr. Rosmarin, who will present lessons from his book, Thriving with Anxiety, in which he presents nine easy-to-follow strategies and demonstrates how readers can harness the power of anxiety to learn about themselves, deepen their relationships with others, and achieve their deepest goals and dreams.

David H. Rosmarin, PhD, is the founder of Center for Anxiety (New York, Boston, Princeton), an associate professor at Harvard Medical School, and director of the McLean Hospital Spirituality & Mental Health Program. He is a clinical innovator in the treatment of anxiety, a board-certified clinical psychologist, and a peer-reviewed scholar. Dr. Rosmarin has helped thousands of patients and organizations learn how to live happier and more productive lives. For over two decades, he has taught people to overcome the stigmas associated with anxiety by embracing all of our human emotions to learn from them and thrive.

Dr. Rosmarin studies the relevance of spirituality to mental health, and he innovates methods for clinicians to address this area of life. He has published over 100 manuscripts, editorials, and chapters, and served as co-editor of the Handbook of Spirituality, Religion and Mental Health. Dr. Rosmarin’s work is regularly featured by the media and has appeared in CNN, NPR, Scientific American, the Boston Globe, the Wall Street Journal, and the New York Times.
