Mission Statement
Sisterhood empowers a diverse group of women of varying ages to observe and promote Jewish values and traditions, enjoying warmth and friendship in the process. While enriching our lives through our many activities, we support Sinai Temple, Conservative Judaism and the greater community through our social action programs and fundraising efforts. We value the energy, ideas and participation that our members bring.

Learn the principles of Chinese circle walking, tai chi movements, and posture-enhancing techniques. Includes neuroplasticity and proprioception training, and ends with peaceful meditation.

Sisterhood member Carole Kahn will lead an engaging discussion on the story of Ruth, the halitzah ceremony, and themes of women’s empowerment. Enjoy dinner and an evening of meaningful learning and connection. The cost is $20 per person (payable by cash or check at the program).

Sisterhood Torah Fund Scholarship Campaign
Sinai Temple Sisterhood proudly supports the Women’s League for Conservative Judaism’s annual Torah Fund Scholarship Campaign.
Torah Fund raises money for scholarships and programming to support our future rabbis, cantors, educators, administrators and lay-leaders of the Jewish community, as well as research at the schools they attend.
We are proud that this includes five Conservative/Masorti rabbinical schools around the world which benefit from Torah Fund: Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies in Los Angeles, Jewish Theological Seminary in New York, Schechter Institute of Jewish Studies in Jerusalem, Seminario Rabinico Latino Americano in Buenos Aires, and Zacharias Frankel College in Potsdam, Germany.
