Amanda Kogan

Marketing & Communication Vice President

Amanda Kogan has been a member of Sinai Temple for over 20 years.  Her husband, Aaron, became a Bar Mitzvah at Sinai and even brought Amanda to High Holy Day services with him when they were dating in high school.  Their daughters, Madeline and Hannah, went to Preschool at Sinai, then to the Religious School, and over the past few years had their Bat Mitzvahs in Ziegler sanctuary (just like their daddy).

A fourth generation LA native, Amanda grew up in Beverly Hills, married her high school sweetheart, went to USC Film School, and spent almost 20 years as a talent agent. In 2023, she transitioned to talent management at Aaron Kogan Management (yes, she works with her husband) where she specializes in non-fiction television, documentaries and podcasts.

Amanda has been actively involved in the Preschool and Religious School, and loves being a part of the Sinai Temple Board where she is the VP of Marketing & Communications.  You can also hear Amanda sing prayers with Cantor Feldman at Rosh Hashanah or the occasional Saturday morning Shabbat service.  Outside of Sinai, Amanda is the current Vice-Chair of the Advisory Board for the Ziegler School for Rabbinic Studies and is also on the Advisory Board for the Creative Community for Peace.
