Rosa Berman Ruder
Rosa Berman Ruder was born in Cuba and found her spiritual home at Sinai Temple since 1979. Her three sons attended Religious School, were B’nai Mitzvah at Sinai, and were married at Sinai. She is a past Sisterhood President and has served as its Education Vice President for many years. She has served on the Temple Board since 2002 and has chaired and co-chaired several committees. She currently serves on the Membership, Program, Ritual, and Bikkur Cholim Committees, and currently chairs the Temple’s Adult Education Committee and co-chairs the Barad Hall High Holy Day Committee. Along with her husband Joe Ruder, Rosa is devoted to Torah studies and leads discussions at Torah at the Table on Shabbat mornings. Rosa is an artist, and in her free time, does watercolor painting.
