Sheila Bolour

Sheila Bolour

Dr. Sheila Yafai Bolour trained in Internal Medicine and Women’s Health at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after receiving her undergraduate degree in (Third World) Development Studies from UCLA and her M.D. from the Keck School of Medicine at USC.  She served as the Assistant Director of the Women’s Health Program at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for 3 years before starting a private practice in the Beverly Hills area.  Dr. Bolour was well respected lecturer on Women’s Health topics during her years at Cedars-Sinai and was involved with research on testosterone replacement therapy for women’s sexual dysfunction. Dr. Bolour has also been a Clinical Instructor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.

In 2016, Dr. Bolour became active in AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee).  She is currently an active member of the organization as a member of the National Council, the Los Angeles Board, and the New Leadership Network (NLN).   She sits on the School Board of Sinai Akiba Academy (SAA) where she has three children in middle school.  At SAA she is also actively involved as the chair of the Speakers Committee and is involved with the Development Committee.  She also sits on the Los Angeles Board of Common Sense Media.  She is also involved with Visionary Women and sits on the speaker’s committee of this organization.  In previous years, she has served on the Boards of the Concern Foundation and the Neuromuscular Disease Foundation (NDF) where in 2014, she chaired the NDF Gala held at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
