Resilience has been my most powerful teacher this past year. Each of us is relatively equipped with the ability to deal with a challenge. Hope, faith, and purpose are fundamental tools in our Jewish toolbox, and our identity building blocks helped us cope, persevere, and sustain our determination to move forward. With the backdrop of this pandemic, keeping focused, intentional, empathetic, and listening to others while counting my blessings has provided me with the strength to return to life in-person. Perhaps not as it was, but certainly with huge appreciation of what it can be, and how we can contribute to making it better for many more people on this planet.
