My silver lining during this challenging time is opportunity. This shift to working, learning, and staying at home has provided us all with ample opportunity to grow in ways we never thought to before. I have been in education for many years, both in the classroom and the office, and I’ve never used many of the online platforms we’ve come to rely on now. This pandemic has given all of us a chance to become Zoom experts, to re-evaluate how we can teach content online, and to find new ways to connect with our students and communities from afar. Though staying at a safe distance can be hard, I appreciate the unexpected opportunities this time has presented us with.
