On Tuesday, February 6, Sinai Temple hosted two clergy-led “Learn & Lunch” programs, one here at Sinai Temple with Rabbi Jason Fruithandler and one at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center with Rabbi Nicole Guzik.
At the temple, Rabbi Fruithandler spoke to a crowd of over forty members about what it means to be Jewish and the essential cultural principles, history and traditions it encompasses for different people in different ways.
Rabbi Guzik joined several high-profile Cedars doctors, nurses and staff, who took time out of their very busy schedules for a heartfelt discussion of visiting the sick and healing through prayer. Both programs were engaging, interactive and deeply meaningful.
