Daniel Delshad has been a member at Sinai Temple for over 30 years and was a graduate of Sinai Akiba Academy. Daniel joined the Board of Directors in 2017 and has been active on the Temple Technology Committee since 2015. Daniel and his wife Caroline have 2 children who both currently attend Sinai Akiba ECC. Daniel is a graduate of USC with a degree in Finance and Entrepreneurship.
When I ask students and colleagues what their wish for the new year is, they all answer unanimously: “I wish to go back to school!” To be honest, this is also my wish for the new year. The Jewish value I connect with the most that brings out my passion for Judaism is the midah of “Chesed”- kindness. I look to Abraham, our father, when it comes to learning about kindness. On the third day of his bris, Abraham showed true kindness to the angels who visit him. Not only that, but He runs to them, as if anxious to demonstrate his hospitality toward them. We learn from him that no matter how difficult the situation is, we need to rise up to it and be kind. I try to live by this midah because you never know what…
Michael Nazarian was born in Tehran, Iran. He and his wife, Anna, have two children, a son named Pegram, and a daughter named Rebecca. Michael and Anna have been members of Sinai for approximately 23 years. Michael served as Vice President of Membership on the Executive Board of Directors for eight years and is proud to note that membership grew each of those years. Michael also served fourteen years on the Board of Directors and has been a long standing member of Men’s Club.
